Meal Planning at its BEST

I use to subscribe to Martha Stewart monthly Everyday Food, but this year I opted not to, and to tell you the truth, I ready do miss getting her little book in the mail each month. But after some careful financial planning (and the fact that I can get her recepies for free on her website) I decided not to renew my subscription. I will be making a trip to the market tomorrow and I thought it would be ideal to plan my meals today. Here is what we have so far.

Monday: New Orleans-Style BBQ Shrimp

Tuesday or Wednesday: zucchini Pasta with Ricotta

Thursday: Tangy Chicken with Orzo pilaf

Friday: Roast Chicken with Zucchini, Carrots and Onions

Desert: upside-down mango tartlets...hummmm

I am so sorry that I have been MIA...get it... Believe it or not, I have not been near my computer in a week or so due to my Ipad that I got for my 29th Birthday back in January. I was on the phone with a company in Illinois (my third favorite State, after California and Wisconsin) and she requested some pictures of our blankets so I had to come on back to the old laptop. Anyway, after I have bored my readers to tears, here are some pictures of the Market bibs. They have gotten excellent reviews from customers.

Meal Planning

I was reading one of my favorite blogs Maillardville Manor and she blogged about her meal planning. I thought it was an intesting subject because I too like to plan my meal ahead of time. I do however have a confession to make. I have not been doing it and our bank accout has suffered. Maillardville Manor, you have inspired to plan my healthy meals and in the process, ake it FUN.

Monday:

Lunch: packed a sandwich

Dinner: Pot Pie from Trader Joes and a salad

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Yogurt with a apple muffin and tea

Lunch: Turkey Sandwich

Dinner: Margarita Pizza and a salad

Wednesday

Breakfast: Yogurt with an apple muffin

Lunch: Tuna Sandwich

Dinner: Pesto, Pasta with chicken

Thursday

Breakfast: Yogurt with an apple muffin

Lunch: Tuna Sandwich with apples

Dinner: bow tie pasta with sun dried tomates and chicken

Friday

Lunch: ?

Friday?

Ok so I need more ideas. I welcome everyones Ideas.
