A beautiful day at the Market

It was a great day at the Market today. I am so lucky to be able to spend time with my friends each week. At the begining of the year, Raquel (the wonderful girl who runs the market) convinced me to be official and get a 10x10 space (before I just had an 8ft space with a sunbrella. I wasn't sure I wanted to do all the extra work of putting up a canopy and bringing in MORE tables and so on, but I knew my product line was going to be growing and I took the challenge. Thank you Raquel for the push.

ThankFul Thursday

Wow, can you believe that it is Thursday already? Where did time go? With B going back to school full time and running a business, he seems to be overly stressed and crabby lately. I have to remember not to take it personal. Today he got home at 3pm and walked into the house and said, "Wow, it looks like a sweatshop in here". I could take it to mean that he is impressed by all the work that I have been doing or it could mean that he is not impressed with how his house looks. But it is Thankful Thursday and I am thankful for having him in my life.

Whatcha working on Today?

The Hubby started school today and I have the house all to myself. I had plans to go to the gym and clean my scraproom, make dinner and this and that. Unfortunately, it did not end up working out that way for me. I spent most of the afternoon at the fabric store and I rushed home to finish designing and cutting the bibs. Thankfully tomorrow I will get another chance at making it to the gym and clearing out the scraproom.

Meal Planning

I was reading one of my favorite blogs Maillardville Manor and she blogged about her meal planning. I thought it was an intesting subject because I too like to plan my meal ahead of time. I do however have a confession to make. I have not been doing it and our bank accout has suffered. Maillardville Manor, you have inspired to plan my healthy meals and in the process, ake it FUN.

Monday:

Lunch: packed a sandwich

Dinner: Pot Pie from Trader Joes and a salad

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Yogurt with a apple muffin and tea

Lunch: Turkey Sandwich

Dinner: Margarita Pizza and a salad

Wednesday

Breakfast: Yogurt with an apple muffin

Lunch: Tuna Sandwich

Dinner: Pesto, Pasta with chicken

Thursday

Breakfast: Yogurt with an apple muffin

Lunch: Tuna Sandwich with apples

Dinner: bow tie pasta with sun dried tomates and chicken

Friday

Lunch: ?

Today I am thankful for cookbooks. Growing up, I never had the desire to learn to cook, but now that I have a home and the desire to enjoy a home cooked meal with my family, I am thankful for the step by step instructions.
